What about it ?
My role: Game Designer, Level Designer
Game created: A 2.5D Beat'em all
Work constraints: Group Project with 10 people, made in 1 month and a half
Softwares used: Unity, Photoshop, Flowchart, Trello, Git, Powerpoint, Google Sheets
Year: 2022

How was it made ?
For this game we had camera and control contraints to fit the 2.5D genre. Since each of the 6 Game Designers had to design one level, we were all Level Designers as well from the get-go.
I used Unity 3D for this game. The programming part was left to the Programmers, though I made detailed documents explaining how each gameplay element worked, on top of using a Trello and Git to organise the project.
Photoshop and Powerpoint were used to make mockups and Game Design Documents, and Google Sheet helped me organising our ideas and documents made for the Programmers and Sound Designer.
How did it go?
- Teamwork was efficient, within Game Designers first, but also with the Game Programers and Sound Designer.
- Specific documents were made for everyone listing what features/sounds the game needed, with a priority set for each.
- We managed to finish the game in time by cuting a lot of content.
- The game's USP isn't utilised enough.
- Most of the levels are too difficult from a casual player perspective.
